Bill Sneyd is Chief Commercial Officer at Electron Green. In the early 2000s he invented the CarbonNeutral Protocol, bringing together NGOs, carbon traders, academics and politicians to create one of the first international standards for the voluntary carbon market. A qualified engineer with an INSEAD MBA, Bill began his career in the field with Shell in the USA and Europe, before spending over a decade at The CarbonNeutral Company. He later co-founded HomeSun and the first “air-space leases” for free solar, and co-founded FlowGem. At Electron Green he manages the relationship with a number of our largest landlord clients as well as being responsible for the commercial development of the business.
