Minjia Yang is Head of Sustainable Finance at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), where she leads global initiatives advancing social sustainability across sustainable finance, ESG regulation, and the built environment. Her work focuses on how health, human experience, and social impact are increasingly influencing capital allocation, corporate strategies, and real estate portfolios worldwide. Prior to IWBI, Minjia worked with Delos to establish more than 10 international subsidiaries and joint ventures, and helped launch Asia’s first venture capital fund focused on wellness technologies for the built environment. A frequent international speaker on sustainable finance and ESG trends, Minjia has served on the Urban Land Institute New York Housing Council, the World Economic Forum Green Buildings Consortium, Drexel University’s Dual Mission Consortium, and Mercy University’s Women in Leadership Advisory Board. In 2024, she was recognized as one of the Global 50 Women in Sustainability by SustainabilityX Magazine.
