Catalina, an Architect at Chapman Taylor's Manchester studio since 2021, excels in residential and mixed-use projects, dedicated to crafting vibrant and successful spaces. Her portfolio includes large-scale developments, masterplans, and restorations. As a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, she combines her practice with academia, focusing on the role of art in placemaking through her PhD research.

Recognised for her contribution, Catalina was a 2023 ‘I Love Manchester’ Awards finalist and a 2020 ‘RIBA Rising Stars’ shortlist, highlighting her commitment to ethical and sustainable architecture. Active in Women in Property North West as an Inclusion Champion, she advocates for diversity, shaping the industry's future with her expertise and vision.

Christopher heads up Davitt Jones Bould's Environmental, Social and Governance team, and has a particular focus on biodiversity & natural capital, town and city regeneration projects and coastal regeneration. He has, for example, been an active member of Habitat for Humanity's Empty Spaces to Homes Coalition, helping them to drive forward their scheme to solve the housing crisis through an innovative scheme. As part of this role, he has contributed to two All-Party Parliamentary Groups and Audit Wales review of brownfield land housing developments.

Christopher holds a number of board and advisory roles at non-profits with missions relating to the protection and restoration of biodiversity, improving social mobility and delivering health and wellbeing. He also volunteers with the Cranfield Trust where he mentors and consults CEOs and board members of non-profits in crisis.

With over 8 years of dedicated experience in the dynamic realm of social value, working with esteemed house builders and developers, I am a seasoned Social Value expert renowned for orchestrating bespoke, high-impact projects. My extensive portfolio encompasses diverse sites, where I have refined strategies to optimise opportunities whilst empowering all supply chain and stakeholders into the delivery of social value initiatives.

Passionate about community empowerment, I am committed in ensuring that every individual from the area reaps the benefits of regeneration efforts in a profound and enduring manner. Recognised for my proficient skills to collaborated with partners, I spearhead initiatives that surpass targets and catalyse transformative change, with a keen focus on engaging hard-to-reach demographics and leaving a lasting legacy to a more empowered and thriving community.

Emma leads JLL’s commercial and corporate sustainability agendas, working with a team of over 200 sustainability professionals and supporting thousands of real estate colleagues. Emma also sits on the UK Executive Board and is tasked with building on JLL’s 25-year sustainability heritage; supporting our clients with innovative solutions and embedding sustainability into everything we do. Emma has 17 years of experience at JLL, having joined the Sustainability Consulting team in 2007 before taking on the UK Head of Sustainability role in 2021 and expanding to cover EMEA Markets Advisory in 2024.

Ms Papavasileiou is responsible for ESG strategy and execution in the Federated Hermes Real Estate team, including Real Estate Debt. She leads the climate resilience and net-zero agenda across over £6bn of Federated Hermes-managed real estate portfolios. With over 12 years of experience in the sustainability in the built environment, her focus is on developing holistic approaches in meeting environmental and social commitments within the commercial and residential real estate.

She is a member of the King’s Cross Environmental and Social Government (ESG) Committee and member of the Advisory Board of ConstructZero of Construction Leadership Council. Prior to Federated Hermes, Katerina was at JLL, leading portfolio level strategic implementation of ESG considerations. She also led the responsibility agenda for several construction and urban regeneration projects in London. She has also supported Associated British Ports with their energy transition and advised National Rail’s Real Estate team on the execution of their sustainability strategy.

Katerina holds a BSc in Management Science and Technology, an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MPhil in Environmental Policy from University of Cambridge.

Since joining Ridge as Head of Social Value, Lauren has driven transformational change in the way the company views and delivers social value. She leads a team engaged in the research, design, and delivery of multiple social value programmes across the world.

With over 12 years of experience, Lauren’s work includes delivery of career and entrepreneurial programmes in some of the most deprived areas of London, developing business and community partnerships that deliver impactful social, economic and environmental outcomes.

Lauren sits on the Advisory Board of the BPIC Network and contributes to Social Value UK’s thought leadership group on social value in education.

Marylis Ramos Director, Savills Earth Advisory Savills

Marylis leads the Savills Earth Advisory, the central hub for Savills' in-house multidisciplinary ESG and sustainability consultancy service. She works closely with sustainability specialists from across the company to provide clients with holistic, end-to-end sustainability consultancy and expertise. With over 20 years of experience in the field of sustainability and environmental design, Marylis brings expertise across several areas, including energy, sustainability, health and well-being and social value. Prior to joining Savills in 2022, she was the head of sustainability, research and innovation at one of the UK's largest residential architectural practices, leading on a wide range of development as well as research projects. She is a strong advocate for holistic, multidisciplinary approaches to sustainability and of a human-centred approach to designing the built environment.

Since joining Savills, she has been helping our clients navigate and access the Savills Earth network of experts, which includes specialists in net zero carbon, sustainable design, energy, renewables and infrastructure, impact economics, operational sustainability, social value, biodiversity, health and wellbeing, environmental assessment, sustainable placemaking, and sustainable workplaces, and assists clients with sustainability visioning and framework development, communication, and thought leadership. 

Matthew, a founding director of Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt, brings over 20 years of diverse sector architectural experience.

A straight-talker with a deep understanding of complex issues, his workload spans residential mixed-use, cultural buildings, and global motor sport arenas.

Beyond projects, Matthew is Director of Strategy, driving innovation and challenging the practice to find ways to continually improve.

Nuno is the Head of Sustainability at WilkinsonEyre and has over fourteen years of cross sector experience in sustainability in the built environment. Nuno specialises in environmental design, building performance and net zero carbon, and leads the development and implementation of the practice's ESG strategy.

He is an active member of industry groups, part of the LETI steering committee, and a co-author of the Climate Emergency Design Guide. He is also a contributor to the Net Zero Carbon Building Standard, a design tutor at University College London and sits on local authority Design Review Panels.

Rob is an award-winning architect and Head of Sustainability at Stride Treglown. Stride Treglown are an employee-owned, carbon-neutral practice and in 2021 became the 1st AJ100 architects to become a B-Corp. He has been responsible for a number of initiatives in Bath and Bristol which have promoted action on climate, biodiversity and health.

His 2022 climate installation won AJ Collaboration of the Year and this year he is coordinating an international action around biodiversity loss. He has been sustainability advisor to the RIBA Southwest awards, is an external Examiner at UWE and has been the winner of multiple RIBA design competitions.

Sarah is Head of Impact at Puma Property Finance, leading the implementation and delivery of its Impact Lending Framework across residential and commercial real estate in the UK. Sarah has over 10 years’ experience in full spectrum commercial real estate finance, across origination, structuring and investment management. She is also a supporter and Trustee of ELOP – a LGBT+ Mental Health and Wellbeing charity.

Thomasin leads the design, development, delivery and customer care teams at Pocket Living. Pocket is an innovative developer delivering homes for local Londoners on modest incomes at a discount to market prices.

She is also Non-Executive Director of Broadway Living RP, Ealing Council’s subsidiary delivering Council housing.

Previously, Thomasin led Grosvenor’s major 2-acre mixed-use scheme in Mayfair: the South Molton Triangle. Prior to that, at Muse, she led a number of urban regeneration projects, including the Lambeth Town Hall project in partnership with LB Lambeth.

Vicki is a Director of Sustainability at tp bennett, bringing expertise to a variety of Architecture and Interiors projects. Vicki is a Passivhaus Certified Designer who champions exemplar sustainable design with a holistic approach. She is passionate about designing environmentally-sustainable, healthy and equitable spaces, whilst optimising tp bennett’s own footprint as a practice.
