Rowan joined MAPP in 2020; heading our team of skilled Sustainability consultants. With over 20 years of extensive experience in sustainable environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) and energy management across sectors, the team is set to guide clients, owners and investors on their net-zero pathway. During his career, he has worked with such companies as Sainsbury’s, Landsec, CLS Holdings, CBRE and Pfizer. Rowan’s goal in the climate change challenge is to make sustainability simple, mainstream and embedded into everything people do and, therefore hopes to be unwanted as a specialist in the future. Rowan is also a contributor to leading ESG associations like the UKBGC, BBP & UK NZCBS task groups, where he supports the publishing of key guidance and standards used in the UK and globally. For example, 2020 UKGBC Net Zero Whole Carbon Roadmap and currently supporting the first official UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standards amount other ESG industry work in the past Outside of spending time with his two beautiful daughters and wife, he’s developing the skill set to become a rugby coach following 22 years of actively playing rugby.
