Chris joined SCAPE in 2015, with over 14 years of diverse experience working in Local Government, including leadership of organisational change and service improvement as well as capital programme and energy efficiency delivery in the built environment sector. As Director of Performance and Improvement, Chris is responsible for environmental and social value policy and performance measurement, as well as providing strategic input into the improvement of SCAPE’s service offering and the development of new products. Chris provides leadership for the Construction Waste Portal, which improves the measurement, management and reduction of construction waste and embodied carbon in the sector. Chris represents SCAPE externally within sustainability and performance forums including the Construction Leadership Council’s Carbon Reduction Code, the National Association of Construction Frameworks (NACF) and Constructing Excellence.
